Seriously, how often have you see a PURPLE OSTRICH "Muse" bag? Never? This is the only one I've ever seen, and it's well worth seeing! Great styling, wonderful fun color, and OSTRICH! LUXE! This YSL PURPLE PURPLE PURPLE OSTRICH OSTRICH OSTRICH "MUSE" bag hits on all cylinders. The ostrich is in excellent shape, inside and out: no dings, dents, scratches, or stains. There's been some fading, which is very par for the course for purple and blue bags (always ask), but it's uniform, and you can't really tell until and unless you look carefully under the "lock" and then you can see it. Aside from a little bit of darkening on the bottom of the bag and a few random spots (very few and very random and very difficult to photograph, as the last photo in the listing attests...look to the right...those dark dots are where the quills poked out), the skins are excellent, the edges are impeccable, the stitching is nice and tight. No repairs. The black leather interior is nearly flawless, aside from a few of the most minor, superficial...well, they are too minor to be called scratches. Use marks is how I guess I'd characterize them. No biggie, that's for sure. Hallmarked lock, hallmarked key, hallmarked zipper pulls. FIVE brass feet! (Thank you, YSL!) The antiqued brass hardware ("antiqued" means it won't polish up shiny) is excellent: no flaking, silvering, scrapes, or damage. 16" wide, 10" tall, 5" deep, and the strap drop is 8". These YSL ostrich Muse bags are tough as nails, exceptional quality—a real standout. DEEE-LUXE! I'm just going to say this: If you need to rely on 's "authentication process," please don't purchase any of my items. If you can't tell what you're looking at it, from the photos and the description, please go someplace else. 's "authenticators" are ignorant about vintage exotic skin handbags.
