There is a leather velcro strap to hide the laces at the ankle and a hidden platform that is approximately 2" and a 5 1/2" ultra high stiletto heel. The bootie is just the right height on the foot to make it perfect to pair with a dress or with pants. Crafted in Italy the insole, lining, and upper material are made of supple leather, ensuring superior comfort! It is an unusually comfortable and easy heel to walk in considering its ultra high height. I hate to have to part with them, but I have problems with my feet that no longer allow for heels.
