The fabric tag is gone but I believe this is a viscose wool blend, not even a little itchy. And just gorgeous. A later - spin-out from the famous-infamous Russian collection. YSL launched the Variations label in 1984 as a diffusion brand with things a little less costly than Rive Gauche. Like most diffusion brands, choices in fabric and quality workmanship drove the prices high enough that the label was put out of business. It is true, pre-retirement Saint Laurent.
No signs of wear, no damage. Hand washed and pressed.
Generously cut front – fabric gathered into and released from the shoulders for a higher neck wrap. Front sections are 16” wide before the ties are attached and the ties are 42” long. 1/8th” shoulder pads mainly to cause shoulders to stay put – always a challenge in a fitted wrap.
Measured across the back – you can get a few more inches from the front wrapl
18” across the underarms, 17.5” across the waist and hem, 20” long from top of shoulder to the hem. 16” from the top of one shoulder seam to the other and sleeves are 22” long.
I provide all this information so that you can get it and love it, so I hope you use it. Please ask any questions – that helps me write better listings.
The sewing form measures 38-30-39, FYI.
I am not a professional seller. I do this because I am weak and must have money for shopping. So please check your measurements and understand that I hope to avoid returns – tho I certainly will accept them, and, unless if I've really made a mistake in the factual portion of the description, I will ask you to share the shipping costs. I avoid future relations with people who send things back worn or because they didn’t read the description.
Please keep in mind that keeps up to 20 percent of each purchase for letting me – and you – use this wondrous platform. And that the post office doesn’t ship free for me or ; promotes promising it because people think they’re getting a deal with ‘free shipping.’
I also shop here on and try to behave like so many of the great sellers and buyers I've had the privilege and good luck to deal with.
