Who are Southern Hospice Group?
Last year we announced that Chestnut Tree House and our sister hospice St Barnabas House would be merging with Martlets in Hove to create one single hospice group. To allow us to complete some legal and administrative functions, we've needed to identify a new name for the group: Southern Hospice Group.
Together, we support children, young people and adults who have life-limiting conditions which will significantly shorten their lives. We help those we care for, and their loved ones, to make the most of the precious time they have left together. Our expert palliative services support local communities across Sussex and South East Hampshire, at our hospice sites and in people's homes.

We ship majority of our items via Royal Mail and UPS.
International Shipping: International shipping is offered via 's GSP only, we cannot facilitate direct overseas shipping. We cannot see or alter the amount quoted by for this service. We understand that costs can be high using this service, however, we do not have the capacity to offer any international shipping outside of this.
Auctions: We allow all our auctions to run their course, without offering a buy it now option, unless the item is listed as such. Depending on the item and start price, unsold auction items will either be relisted or passed on to our high street shops for sale.
Vinyl: All our vinyl is graded and valued by our volunteer vinyl expert, they are experienced in the vinyl trade and giving accurate gradings.
Collection Only Items: If an item is listed as collection only, then we are only able to offer it for collection. Unfortunately, we cannot facilitate packing these items for buyers to arrange their own couriers. Due to the limited space we have available, items must be collected within 10 working days, or the order may either be cancelled or subject to a storage charge.
Collection times are Monday-Friday 9-4 from Hove.
Saturday collection 9-5 is available if pre-arranged before closing on Friday.
Donating Items: If you are not local to us but think you may have a donation suitable for any of our online stores, please get in touch.
If you are in our Local area, please check our website for donation drop off points.
Returns: All our items are covered under our 30 day returns policy. Where the item is faulty or not as described, Martlets will cover the cost of return and issue a full refund. For any other returns, the postage costs are to be covered by the buyer.
