Manifesto Perfume by Yves Saint Laurent, Released in August 2012 in collaboration with Anne Flipo and Loc Dong, Manifesto is a masterpiece women’s fragrance guaranteed to ignite your inner desire. The blend opens with refreshing top notes of bergamot, fresh green wave, and black currant before giving way to heart notes of Sambac jasmine and lily of the valley. Base notes of cedar wood, sandalwood, tonka bean, and vanilla round out this fragrance with a pleasantly creamy finish.
Yves Saint Laurent was born in 1936 and founded his self-named fashion house in the 1960s. He remained active as a designer in the company until the late 1980s. Prior to launching his brand, Laurent began a career in fashion at the age of 17 while working as an assistant to Christian Dior. The fashion house launched its first fragrance, Y for Women, in 1964. Today there are over 190 fragrances in the fashion house’s collection, with the latest release being from 2018.
