A fantastic vintage 1970s hat from Yves Saint Laurent! Beautiful, velvety wool felt in deep, dark black . High crown and wide brim with black grosgrain ribbon. Interior has bright turquoise sweatband and another strip of turquoise ribbon attached to the inside of the crown to keep it perfectly molded into place. Thin elastic cording. Labelled “Yves Saint Laurent, Paris-New York”. Very good conditon, minor soil at interior sweatband, wear showing to the elastic band, and there may be a few missing stitches on outside grosgrain ribbon where the two ends meet, all pictured. Measures about 20.25” around interior band with a 4.75” wide brim all the way around.
