Elle Perfume by Yves Saint Laurent, Elle is a fresh and modern perfume designed for the working woman. The blend of patchouli with hints of soft spices and sweet floral scents make this a tender yet refined aroma. The top notes feature the mild and tropical litchi mixed with Amalfi lemon and peony, carrying you straight into the warm heart notes of pink berries, Jasmine Sambac, rose and freesia. The berries and flowers evoke the energy of youth, which is appropriately rounded out by the woody base notes of patchouli, vetiver, and cedar.
It was designed by perfumers Olivier Cresp and Jacques Cavallier in 2007 for Yves Saint Laurent. This French fashion house has been around since the 1960s and has since been building on a legacy of bold and chic lineups. The bottle Elle is presented in is a tall violet bottle, its simple branding and square edges retaining the “modern classic” look the perfume house is well-known for.
